Hair Loss Through Medical Treatment

 

Hair loss from chemotherapy and radiotherapy can be permanent. Hair loss this way – whether it be male or female, can be treated with Scalp Micropigmentation.

Treatment must have been finished – the length of time between finishing treatment and SMP varies between each patient and what medical treatment has been given. Confirmation from your GP will be sought, to confirm that you are suitable for this treatment.

Other medications which can cause hair loss include Beta Blockers, Non steroidal anti inflammatories (NSIAD’s), Tricyclic anti depressants. Many types of hair loss and baldness through medication use can be treated with SMP and confirmation from your GP will be sought to confirm that you are suitable for this treatment.
